Picture Play Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Video content

Photography and filming will be supervised by a member of staff from the school at all times and the school is empowered to review and approve all videos. If a child does not want a video taken, we may use a montage of portrait photographs as an alternative.

Viewing the video

After purchase the video is accessed using the free Picture Play app. The video is designed to be played on a mobile device and the quality is sufficient for this purpose only.

The scan function, which brings the printed portrait photograph to life, will only work on AR compatible devices. If your device is not AR compatible, the app will recognise this and you will be given the option to play the video via the play button instead of scanning over the printed photograph.

Payment

All products must be paid for in advance of dispatch. Payments can be made using Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, Master Card or PayPal. All prices are stated in Pounds Sterling and include VAT; prices are subject to change without notice.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders that are being delivered to home within 21 days. All orders with delivery to school selected will be dispatched within 21 days of the deadline date.

Packages can still be classed as in transit up to 14 days from the date that it has been dispatched. Therefore if you have not received your order, please wait 14 days from the date that you are notified of dispatch before contacting us.

If 14 days have passed then please contact us either by email on info@schoolphotographs.co.uk or call 01295 250812 and select option 1, we will then be happy to help trace your lost or delayed order. We will always endeavour to rectify the situation for you as soon as possible. However, you must contact us within three months of dispatch as after this time period we cannot trace an order with our delivery agents and it is deemed reasonable to assume that the customer has already received their order.

Cancelling an order

As our photography products are bespoke and each order is custom made, orders cannot be cancelled once production of the order has started.

Returning products

All orders placed by you that contain an image, will be individually printed for you. Therefore it is not possible to return an order or claim a refund if you have made an error.

For all other products, customers have 14 days to return any unwanted goods. Please return the item to the address below via recorded delivery at your own cost. You must include a copy of your invoice and note why you are returning the goods. Unwanted items may incur a handling charge.

Faulty goods MUST BE returned within 14 days, please contact us either by email on info@schoolphotographs.co.uk or call 01295 250812 and select option 1. As soon as we receive the item/s and they have been checked, we will either refund your card or send a replacement. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Storage of videos

The videos are stored securely using server side encryption (SSE) and once viewed will be stored locally to your device. We aim to maintain the online storage of video files for up to 12 months from the photography date.

Complaints

Complaints must be made directly to The School Photography Company within 3 working days of receipt of goods. All complaints should be sent via email to; info@schoolphotographs.co.uk

Personal information

The School Photography Company will not sell, distribute or disclose information about you either as an individual or your personal usage of the app without your consent or unless required to do so by law.
